Studio Membership

What is a studio membership?

A studio membership allows more experienced potters to work in our studio space during open hours! To qualify for this membership, you either have to have 1-2 years of experience with pottery or have taken at least 2 of our four week courses.

What does the membership include?

With your membership you will have unlimited access to our studio workspace during open hours as well as our pottery wheels, glazes, special tools, slab roller and kiln firings! Memberships also include a personal shelving space for each member to store their tools and works in progress. The individual will need to provide their own basic tools and clay. You can purchase 25 lb bag of clay from us here at the studio for $20. The clay we use is MC 105 White Low-Fire clay (this is subject to change).

How much does it cost?

The studio membership fee is $100 per month with unlimited access to our studio workspace. If members use our glazes, they will be charged for each piece according to how much glaze was used. If the individual is using another type of clay or glaze that needs to be fired alone and not with our regularly scheduled kiln firings, it will be $20 for each personal firing. If the individual is using the same type of clay and glaze then it will be free and included in the membership.
