November 2024 Classes & Events
Four Week Wheel Throwing Course: November
In this four-week course, students will learn how to create functional clay vessels on the pottery wheel as well as trimming, applying decoration and glazing techniques with our instructor Demi Francois. Each session is two hours long and will occur on four consecutive Tuesdays including November 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Class is limited to six participants. Ages 15 and up. All clay and supplies are included.
Paint Your Own Seafood Platter: November 2nd
In this three-hour class, students will be guided on how to paint this seafood scene on a 15in x 8in serving platter with our instructor Kama Logan! All glaze, supplies and firings are included in the price. This class will be on Saturday Nov. 2nd at 11AM-2PM. Class is limited to sixteen participants. Ages 12 and up.
Candle Holder Workshop: November 6th
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to create candle holders on the pottery wheel with our instructor Rachel Schnadelbach! Class is limited to 6 spaces and will be held on Wednesday November 6th 4-6PM. The studio will glaze the holders with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 15 and up.
Gratitude Dishes Workshop: November 9th
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to create gratitude dishes from slabs of clay with our instructor Rachel Schnadelbach! Class is limited to 10 spaces and will be held on Saturday November 9th 11-1PM. The studio will glaze the dishes with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 15 and up.
Dinner Plate Workshop: November 13th
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to create dinner plates on the pottery wheel with our instructor Rachel Schnadelbach! Class is limited to 6 spaces and will be held on Wednesday November 13th 4-6PM. The studio will glaze the plates with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 15 and up.
Gumbo Bowl Workshop: November 20th
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to create gumbo bowls on the pottery wheel with our instructor Rachel Schnadelbach! Class is limited to 6 spaces and will be held on Wednesday November 20th 4-6PM. The studio will glaze the bowls with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 15 and up.
Charcuterie Board Workshop: November 23rd
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to create charcuterie boards from slabs of clay with our instructor Demi Francois! Class is limited to 10 spaces and will be held on Saturday November 23rd 11-1PM. The studio will glaze the boards with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 15 and up.

In this three-hour class, students will be guided on how to paint this Joy Christmas scene on a 10 in plate with our instructor Kama Logan! All glaze, supplies and firings are included in the price. In this two hour class, students will learn the basics of throwing pottery on the pottery wheel with our instructor Rachel Schnadelbach. On average, students usually make 1-4 pieces of pottery during this session. The studio staff will then trim and glaze all pieces with student’s choice of color. Pieces will be ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after class. This class will be held on Wednesday December 4th 4PM-6PM. Class is limited to six participants. Ages 10 and up. All clay and supplies are included.
Build A Snowman Workshop: December 5th
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to handbuild their own decorative snowman of clay with our instructor Demi Francois! Class is limited to 10 spaces and will be held on Thursday December 5th 6-8PM. STUDENT WILL HAVE TO COME BACK DURING OPEN HOURS TO PAINT THEIR SNOWMAN OR The studio will glaze the snowman with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 10 and up.
Ornament Making Workshop: December 7th
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to create ornaments from slabs of clay with our instructor Rachel Schnadelbach! Class is limited to 10 spaces and will be held on Saturday December 7th 11-1PM. STUDENT WILL HAVE TO COME BACK DURING OPEN HOURS TO PAINT THEIR ORNAMENTS OR The studio will glaze the ornaments with student’s choice of color and fire them. They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 10 and up.

They will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class. Ages 15 and up.
